Infinix have officially announced the availability of their latest phablet device, the Note 4 on Jumia Kenya, despite the device being available for purchase on the website since July 1. The device which retails for Ksh.14,000 offers a 1080*1920 Full HD display, 2GB RAM with 16GB internal memory, 13MP camera paired with an 8MP selfie cam and a massive 4300mAh battery.
The device also comes with Android Nougat on board with the usual XOS custom UI. Internal storage is set at 16GB with the option of expanding the memory with a Micro SD card up to 128 gigz. There’s also 4G support and Dual SIM capabilities.
The screen size of the Note 4 has been slightly reduced compared to last year’s Note 3, to the delight of people like me with not-so-big hands. The design has changed drastically and I see a lot of Samsung Galaxy Note 5 inspiration, the slightly curved glass back, the camera design, the front-facing fingerprint reader come home button all of which are strikingly good looking.
Infinix have informed us that offline sales of the device will start soon, interestingly, we have reliable information that there is a more powerful 5.7-inch display Note 4 with a special stylus dubbed X-Pen, to compliment the device.
Infinix Kenya have confirmed this and have revealed that the X-Pen will be an extra accessory that one will have to carry around, unlike how Samsung implement their S-Pen. The company informed us that the Note 4 Pro will be available later on in August this year.
At the moment, if you want to get yourself an Infinix Note 4, head over to Jumia and grab one for yourself either in Gold color with a white front or in Blue color with a black front. I recommend the blue one.
