One of the advantages of using Google Apps and other services like Microsoft Office Online is the ability to work on documents, spreadsheets and presentations in real-time. That also includes the ability to add comments on the side so that everyone is kept in the loop. While that is possible on the desktop, for Google’s popular mobile applications, Docs, Sheets and Slides, it has not been possible. Until the last few hours when Google started rolling out an update.
Users of Docs, Sheets and Slides on Android and iOS will now be able to add comments to any document, spreadsheet or presentation they are working on with colleagues and business partners by starting to type their name in a comment.
