Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 is one of my favourite mid range smartphones. You know, it got most of the basics covered. A good design, a proper camera at 8 MP with a 1.9 MP front counterpart, 5.25 inch HD display, Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, a 1.2Ghz Quad Core processor, 1.5 GB Ram, Adreno 305 GPU, 8GB internal storage with microSD support of upto 64GB and powered by a 2600 mAh.

You can see why this phone excites me for a mid range smartphone, that is actually Dual SIM and with an impressive battery life. Now it launched sometime in November last year and hit the first market, India in January and Kenya (and East Africa) slightly thereafter. At launch, it was available in Black and White in most markets, and Pink in others. Now Samsung Uganda has teased on their Twitter profile that the device will be coming in Blue, a dazzling Blue.
This is in two weeks when the country will be launching the Galaxy K Zoom, Samsung’s hybrid cameraphone. Does a Blue Galaxy Grand 2 look like something you would want to own?
