Infinix Teases the Successor to Last Year’s Hot S, the S2

2

Last year, Infinix introduced a new series in its line up, the Hot S. The target market for this phone was not exactly clear. The device carried the “hot” branding which is well-known for being really affordable with sub Ksh. 10,000 price tags, while the Hot S cost Ksh. 14,000

The Hot S also came with an aluminum body, straying away from the usual plastic build of the Hot series. For this reason, Infinix have dropped the Hot branding this time round. The successor to the Hot S will be known as the S2. Infinix aims to separate the S line from the Hot line, as they target different audiences and come at different prices.

In a very vague post on the Infinix forums, the company has started teasing the Infinix S2 with the line, “it has two ‘eyes’ and rhyme with ‘too’”.

Scheduled to be launched on April 10, the Infinix S2 will put more focus on the selfie camera with its dual front facing cameras, a wide-angle lens and a normal one.

No further information has been provided about the device, however we do have a specifications list:

  1. Infinix is a great phone but it has a major problem with it’s charging port and charging cables ( 2 friends I recommended & I have this problem). I’m using the android one version and it has a very poor battery.
