That Samsung will soon be unveiling a long-awaited upgrade to its fitness wearable, Gear Fit, soon, is one of the worst kept secrets this year. We’ve even seen some very clear renders of the device besides a point blank reference to it on Samsung’s own website. Now we even have more, the last piece of the puzzle: detailed specifications of the device.
According to Sammobile, the Gear Fit 2 will have the following specs:
- 1.55-inch curved Super AMOLED display (216 x 432 pixels)
- 1 GHz dual-core processor made by Samsung
- 512 MB RAM
- 2 GB internal storage
- IP68 certification (can be submerged in 1.5-meters of water for half an hour)
- 200mAh battery
- OS: Tizen 2.3
- GPS and GLONASS
- Heart rate sensor, gyroscope, barometer, and accelerometer
The Gear Fit 2 is expected to be launched some time in June.
