Infinix Mobility is gearing to launch the LTE version of the Infinix Hot 3 soon. The device is slated for unveiling sometime in June, over two months since its 3G counterpart started selling in the Kenyan market.

Infinix has made it a tradition to release LTE versions of its 3G devices sometime after their release. In the case of LTE devices, the brand uses storage configuration for differentiation. For instance, you will find a 3GB or 2GB RAM chip and 32GB, 16GB or 8GB internal storage paired separately as different instances/variants of the same device. The Infinix X553, the model number of the new device, will be exactly that and more in relation to the Infinix X554, the earlier model already in the market.

From the outside, the LTE version of the Infinix Hot 3 will feel a bit different and maybe likely better thanks to more pronounced textures on the plastic back cover. From the inside, the device will be powered by an entry-level Qualcomm processor, the Snapdragon 415, a first for Infinix which has been a mainstay of MediaTek chipsets. This, we hope, will translate in even better performance of the device.
