The Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge is currently receiving a small but mysterious emergency update. The update which does not have a change log outlining what is being updated or fixed is marked as “urgent” and is just a little over 3 megabytes.
One of the things I have noticed on the Galaxy S7 Edge is the oversensitivity of the edge part of the display. A random unintended touch results in it being activated. Is that what is being fixed? Or maybe Samsung is fixing something or adding some more functionality since the new features of the edge screen are only limited to Samsung’s own apps.
The update’s rollout, like most other Samsung updates, is staged meaning that not everyone is getting it at the same time but it is on the way.
