Android Wear is getting some much-needed updates today that were long overdue.
The updates include support for Wi-Fi. Android Wear devices with built-in support for wireless networks will be able to connect to hotspots as soon as the update is applied and applications and notifications will sync and update as expected. The update also includes allowing applications to always remain on long after you’ve stopped looking/staring at your wrist. Google also promises a faster experience since catching up on news and notifications now requires just a flick of the wrist.
