Samsung has today opened up pre-orders for the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge. The two phones are this year’s flagship devices announced earlier at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Samsung has plans to make the device available in the market from April 10th with many countries getting the device concurrently. Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge signal a change in design language for the company’s flagship devices and a commencement of premium material in the build and finish.
Samsung Galaxy S6 will be available on pre-order at a price of Kshs 75,000 while the Galaxy S6 Edge will sell at Kshs 90,000. Pre-order customers will however get a deal on top of this. The two will come with a free wireless charger and cover, the two which total a market value of Kshs 10,000. Potential customers will need to call a toll free number 0800545545 to make a booking. They can also walk in to FoneXpress or Safaricom Shop to make the pre-orders.
The two devices will come fully 4G compatible as Safaricom will be 4G ready in Nairobi and Mombasa by end of March. Galaxy S6 Edge will be available in the 64 GB version only at that price while the Galaxy S6 will be a 32 GB version.
