Orange 3G countiesOrange Kenya has extended high speed broadband network coverage in 4 more countries in the quest to cover the country with 3G connection. Marsabit, Nandi, Vihiga and Lamu are the new beneficiaries of Orange high speed broadband network coverage.

This brings the coverage number to 31 counties that have access to Orange Broadband Virtual Private Network (BVPN) for ease in business networking.

“Among the other areas we can support the County governments include e-Security, optimized Revenue Management and optimized County Resource Management, Business Continuity Management, robust public transport and fleet management, call centres as well as bringing about a high level of efficiency to e-health services, education and agriculture,” says Ghossein.

The connections extend to County Assemblies and Govenor offices as the first phase in what will be a venture to county opportunities recently presented by devolved governments.
