Nokia’s newest offering for the budget conscious buyer and the millions in emerging markets who won’t go for the likes of Lumia 925 is the Nokia X. Running on Android the device has already been launched in India and Kenya and it will be going to China on the 25th of March and it will be going in a big way. According to Nokia’s Weibo account, 1 million Nokia X devices have been pre-ordered already.
The Nokia X is a smartphone running a heavily forked version of Android featuring some low end specs and is priced at about $124 in the markets it has launched so far. Buyers of the device also get free Skype credits for calling mobiles and landlines for a month and 10 GB OneDrive storage.
