Samsung is reportedly collaborating with Carphone Warehouse to boost its customers’ retail store experience. Through a ‘preferred partner’ agreement with the Carphone Warehouse Group, Samsung will get to operate at least 60 Carphone Warehouse stores all across Europe after a pilot program involving just three such stores in Spain proved very successful.
The Samsung-branded and merchandise-laden stores will be in the following countries: United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Sweden and the Netherlands. The roll-out period is expected to be around 7 months and Samsung is surely hoping to be able to match Apple’s retail store customer experience and satisfaction levels in this new venture since Apple has in the last few years aggressively gone after the European market by opening Apple Stores in major capitals to showcase its iconic devices and lure as many people to the brand.
