Much has been said about the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. From its faux-pas Leather back to its huge (5.7”) 1080p Super AMOLED display to its many features that rotate around the ubiquitous S-Pen. It is a phone that is widely anticipated more so after its predecessor, the Galaxy Note II, managed to capture the hearts of many. And our Nigerian brothers are just a step ahead of us: the Galaxy Note 3 is available for pre-order there.
If you are in Nigeria and can’t wait to get your hands on the next beast, you will be interested in bookmarking the microsite set up by Samsung Mobile Nigeria for pre-orders: samsungmobileng.com/iwantthefuture
To accompany the announcement, there’s a nice 73 minute video that features two young men who are both interested in “getting the future” rushing through traffic only to find that the Note 3 has been sold out in their nearest Samsung mobile store. Interestingly, a young woman who had pre-ordered the phablet just walks in to grab her piece of the beast much to the dismay of the two young men. I suppose the lesson here is that you should not wait for that moment of regret like the two young men, go pre-order right away.
The pre-order microsite is much like what we had locally with the Galaxy S4 pre-orders so it should be an easy thing placing your pre-order.
I am sure such treatment for the Kenyan market is around the corner. See the ad below. Spoiler alert: It is in typical Afro-Cinema fashion 🙂
