For the longest time there has been rumours of a Nokia Coffee Tablet, one that keeps going away and back. Well the rumours are back again, this time with actual photos. We could call this a leak but you know anyone could have a random tablet and etch the Nokia logo on it and have us all wagging out rt tablet

Here’s what the tablet has:

  • 1.3GHz Tegra 3 processor
  • 2GB RAM
  • SIM Slot
  • HDMI out
  • USB slot
  • Windows 8 RT

There is no way to estimate what size the tablet is yet and could be the rumoured Nokia mini-tab expected to come out in early 2014. Nokia is rumoured to have been planning to release a Windows RT device later in the year but dismal sales of the rt segment devices might have had them shelve the idea. Oddly enough, with how we know Nokia to love their cameras, this device is minus a rear camera, a quite strange thing on a Nokia device.

Something else that’s starkly missing is at-least one of Nokia’s applications like HERE Maps, or camera specific software. Nokia is not known to not want their Nokia-specific features to be on board their devices. Particularly now that they are on a platform that has other players. What do you think?
