NMG Digital Division announces Sponsorship of Kenya Blog Awards

The awards which are happening on 4th of May have attracted big names like Safaricom, Samsung, Nokia, Philips, Capital FM, AccessKenya, Kenya ICT Board and N-Soko Jobs and this shows the interest that Kenyan Corporates have in online media as a means to reach their customers.

Speaking at the announcement Agastee Khante, the General Manager of the Nation Media Groups Digital Division had this to say,

Kenya Blog Awards which was pioneered last year is in it’s second year after a successful first Kenya Blog Awards. Kenya has a very huge online community at 41% and this goes to say that the conversations that happen online cannot just be about entertainment and getting social. The BAKE Kenyan Blog Awards rewards bloggers that post on a regular basis, have great and useful content, are creative and innovative. These awards represent BAKE’s efforts in the promotion of quality content creation.
