Windows 7.8 is currently rolling out to first generation Nokia Lumias in East Africa. These are Lumia 900, Lumia 800, Lumia 710, Lumia 610 and Lumia 510. Beyond adding the Windows 7.8 features, this upgrade comes with some camera add-ons only previously experienced on the Windows phone 8 Lumias.
The camera features include Cinemagraph camera lens that enables one create GIFs off the camera and the other feature being updated Camera Extras with object remover. Camera Extras App has Smart Shoot, Panorama, Action Shot, and a self-timer. This will also offer burst mode that allows one take a sequence of photos to reduce missing of moments in a fast scene.
Kingori Gitahi, Nokia’s Head of Product Marketing in East Africa says that the first gen Lumia owners will get the premium feel in camera adding increased freedom and fun to their camera experience, only previously available on Windows phone 8 Lumias.
