Posted on Mar 2 2013 - 3:41pm by Martin Gicheru

HTC went the way of Windows phone 8 with their app Blinkfeed that provides updates from social networks and news. This is how the people app works by bringing all notifications in a central place from various sources, including social networks and text messages. HTC was discussing their new Android Skin, Sense 5 and they said they do take a lot of customer feedback in their design.

HTC notes that 90% of their customers don’t care about widgets, and save for Weather app, Clock and music widgets users don’t add anything widget-wise. They also noted that up-to 80% of users don’t change their home-screen at-all.
