Hands on with the Intel Yolo [Gallery]

Intel Yolo front

Intel Yolo front I reviewed the Intel Yolo before launch and thought I should show more what the device has visually. Intel Yolo had much focus on hardware as opposed to design. So the exterior isn’t really much to look at. Infact is you are one person who puts in design and looks first when making smartphone purchase you will be disappointed. But as I have told many of the people asking me whether I would recommend this device, it has inner beauty.

It performed well in the benchmarks, plus it came out of the box running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, something that is not common among peers of that price point. Plus Intel did not want to ruin the pure Android feel by doing unnecessary skinning of the operating system, it takes very many tries to get that right, Samsung and HTC have got their fair share of muck before they finally got it right, right now as a reference design device who’s success will define their future approach, they needed minimal excesses.

Below is a collection of photos I took of the various parts of the phone, including the interiors, box and out of the box accessories.
