Blackberry could as well stay away from Japan as a market if a report by Nikkei is correct. Nikkei says that the costs of modifying the new Operating system Blackberry OS 10 for the Japanese language does not make financial sense. Blackberry’s market-share in Japan is a paltry 0.3% down from a previous 5%. Support for existing Blackberry devices running previous OSes will however go on even while Blackberry closes shop in the far East country.
