Tegra 3 Quad Core processor Sony Xperia Tablet leaks

Sony Xperia Tablet

You will be forgiven to think from the image that this is Microsoft Surface Tablet, but no, this is Sony Xperia Tablet, according to some leaked slides screen-shots that are already roaming the internets. The specs also revealed look pretty amazing and could well lead to Sony having a market accepted device, that is if all else goes well. The device will run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with a screen size of 9.4 inches (1280 x 800), Tegra 3 quad-core processor, the exact processor speed not revealed though. The device will be thinner than previous tablets coming from the Sony oven at 8.8mm. The tablet will be a 3G device and will come with a 6000mAh battery which promises a 10 hour Wi-Fi browsing stay. The tablet has an 8 megapixel rear camera and a 1 megapixel front, stereo speakers, microSD card slot, and Bluetooth 3.0.

This will also use an aluminium shell, I dont know what this will mean for the overall device aesthetics. There are storage options of 16, 32 or 64GB storage which will be priced at $449.99, $549.99 and $649.99 respectively, atleast the slides have also revealed the prices. Whether that sticks will have to be a wait and see thing. The cover is what really looks like what you see on the Microsoft Surface images, but this one has a slightly better edge, looks like the design guys worked overtime. This cover is meant to stay with the device and covers both the back and front surfaces, folding it back reveals a light keyboard that completes the very nicely done design. Accessories for this device include docking stand, tablet stand, dock speaker, charging cradle, dock speaker, carrying cases and screen protectors. No mention anywhere of release date, so this is open to guesses and future predictors.
