Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 is Samsung’s First Android Ice cream Tablet [updated]

Samsung galaxy tab 2Samsung was not going to wait for Mobile World Congress starting on the 27th of Feb. They have already announces their first Tablet donning the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. This is a 7 inch WSVGA(1024×600) tablet with a 1GHz dual core processor and 1GB RAM. The width is 10.5mm. It has a back 3mp fixed focus camera, a VGA front camera, HSPA+ support, Wi-Fi and bluetooth 3.0. It has options of 16 and 32GB internal memory with an option to expand via microSD to 32GB. The battery is a 4000mAh.
It has the trademark Samsung TouchWiz UI with Live Panel. Comes with Hub support, Kies Air, ChatOn and S Suggest, an app that is a real-time recommendation engine.Pricing and availability details not yet available.

The tablets will be available from March in Wi-Fi only and 3G versions in Sweden, Finland, Norway and Denmark. Pricing will be
Norway: $420 and $523
Finand: $463 and $568
Sweden: $450 and $556
Denmark $419 and $512
These are the prices for Wi-Fi only and 3G tabs respectively.
