Wordcamp Kenya is a conference that seeks to bring together all wordpress dependents(Developers, bloggers, designers and users) in a real camp workshop. Not just a camp but a camp out of town, in a weekend in the middle of the month. How’s that for pre-christmas a month early? The event will happen on the 12th and 13th of November.
Speakers are both your local coveted bloggers and developers, and international speakers. Great forum to hear of amazing things people have done and gained from wordpress the CMS(Content management system), plus how you can get the best from it. This and more is the value attendees stand to gain by attending this event, I havent even talked about the fun bit.
All and sundry will get a Wi-Fi packed bus to and from Naivasha, so gear up your smartphones, even you ideos user. 🙂 Adding to that, there will be an extra Kshs 500. credit from Safaricom for when you are in the event, so you can tweet and blog all along. The event will be at Crayfish Camp in Naivasha, one of the best camping places, and near the lake. Do you love water? Bet you do, you can do as much swimming as you want during the breaks. Combining fun and workshops always works in boosting personal morale and attentiveness, so that company team-building event that your boss has been postponing all through will be compensated, and you can go tell him.
Remember the great networking this event offers, developers, bloggers, company CEOs and also friends you have been seeing through the computer will be live, time to meet them for real, you could even strike deals while at it.
