We are close to getting a new announcement by Samsung  of phone affordable to the masses. While we wait for the Samsung Ch@t 527, Samsung is preparing another Samsung phone, Samsung S3770, well it doesn’t yet have a catchy name, but here are the details. Key word here is affordability. It will be a compact lightweight phone with upto 7.2Mbps HSPDA, 2.8 inch QVGA (240×320), Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, bluetooth3.0 and a 2 megapixel camera.Samsung s3770

Micro SD support of upto 16 GB, TouchWiz Lite, new version, social networking support, video call support(wait, does it have a front camera? Havent seen one.), FM with RDS and a battery life of 6 hours are the main features the phone possesses. The music port suggests its got the standard 3.5mm jack earphones.

The unboxing video below was done by a Russian retailer Megafon.

The video indicates that its an android phone, but its hard to pick what version this is. Its a touch phone with just three buttons, the menu, dial and disconnect button. Well since its touch, the likeliness of having an optical trackpad is nil.

Availability is not yet known.
