Techcom brand as you are probably aware is a mobile phone company that prides itself for being the only phone company that specializes on production of legit dual sim phones. These come complete with a one year local warranty and plans are in place to have care centers in Kenya.
Techcom an Indian company, launched 7 phone models recently under the Techcom brand. One of them is the Techcom T-21, a light (76 grams) feature phone for the low budget. This dual sim phone comes with good phone hardware and a tough keypad.
The T-21 is a smal size bar shaped phone and is very well priced, at Kshs 2600, considering this gives you a wap/GPRS browser, memory card slot that takes up upto 8gb extended storage. This will come in handy for the music lovers, since it also comes with the standard 3.5mm jack and its audio player plays mp3 music. It also plays mp4 videos.
The phone comes with a 1.8 inch screen TFT (4.6 cm) and has a radio and led flashlight. It also has the ability for the user to select to use both sim cards on, or select one of the two to be available. Flight mode is also an option.
The phone standby is 150 to 170 hours and a talktime of 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
It has a phonebook entry record of 500 entries and sms record of 200 entries.
The phone doesnt have bluetooth, java and camera. But you bet at that budget it would be too much to ask. And finally, its got one game called sokoban where you arrange some brick . I dare you go play to level 6.
