Google Appreciates EAC Integration

Topics: ,

Today, July 1st marks a very big milestone in East Africa’s history as the day East African boundaries were opened. We can now cross over to all East African countries without limitations and documents that were necessary previously. Google, world’s biggest search engine acknowledged this by placing a very cute image on the search homepage.Google East african page The image has a beautiful display of a Khanga-like art and the interior with all the 5 East African flags inside, and a catchword, UMOJA NI NGUVU, UTENGANO NI UDHAIFU- a swahili phrase meaning togetherness is strength, dividedness is weakness. Kudos Google, we stand strong.
